I think you're thinking of the P35K. I don't see any structural issues with the P34G. I don't tend to try to flex my laptop but It's about as rigid as any I've used.
A 750M + a QHD display will be unacceptably slow for gaming @ native resolution.
Personally, I got a Gigabyte P34G last month and the thing has been awesome for gaming and general use.
Your issues sound eerily like the same issues people have been having with the Intel 7260 family of WiFi cards.
Check out their wireless forums for all the annoyed posts (mine included.)

Thanks for the link. I actually received my P34G 2 weeks ago and have been loving it (mostly). The only problem I've had is with the Intel 7260-N wifi card but that's actually an Intel issue and not a Gigabyte one.
This flex issue seems to be isolated to the P35K series due to the optical...
After doing some further research I think I'll go with the Gigabyte P34G. It seems the best compromise between size, heat, screen quality, price and looks.
Does anyone here own one? Any experiences to share?
I didn't even look into this one. You're right, the Sager would fit perfectly if it only got a bit more battery life. I thought the nVidia Optimus stuff was supposed to help with battery drain when not gaming (keep in mind, I definitely do not expect more than an hour or two of power while...
Hi everyone, I'm looking to get a new gaming laptop within the next 3 weeks or so. I want something that's 5lbs or less in weight with a screen resolution no lower than 1080p and (hopefully) 6 hours of battery life. I don't really want anything larger that 15.6 inches and my budget is about 2k...
How come no one mentioned that this "hack" can only be used on ParrotAR drones which are relatively cheap consumer toys.
Real quadcopters don't use 802.11b/g/n WiFi so how is this useful or "sticking it to Amazon"? Must be a slow news day.
Is the 7750M that much better than the 640M?
I ask only because I am in the market to replace my late 2008 unibody Macbook with a 9400M which has held up surprisingly well. I just can't justify the 1,689.99 (1,439.99 with a discount) price of the Envy over the similar spec'ed Vizio.
I would assume LimeWire got the money from it's parent corporation Lime Group which owns several businesses including a brokerage house (Lime Brokerage) and a hedge fund (Tower Research Capital)
This ranks as one of the most random things I have seen pop up here. The only reason that I even know what Tandem is is because I work for a large financial corporation that is in the process of phasing them out.
These things are damn reliable but just too expensive to run (not to mention...
I have a 640GB drive which has a 80GB OS partition and the rest of the space is just storage. I moved over the data to a 1TB drive and want to clone the 80GB partition on a 160GB WD Raptor drive.
I tried using a copy of Acronis Drive Image to do this but it seems to want to clone the whole...
I read that but $300 for either the 350 or 600 is alot more than I am willing to shell out for a router.
I was thinking the 310 or 610 just because they are cheaper and more available.
I am tired of the constant freezes and bad wireless performance on my D-Link DIR-655 and want to return to a nice DD-WRT router but with gigabit. Does anyone have any experience with DD-WRT on a Linksys WRT310N?
If not the 310N, any other router that the hive mind here can recommend which...
