Official ASUS P8P67 Series Overclocking Guide and Information

Those numbers were made before the PLL overvoltage fix, so that's why they're so low. They basically tell you how high you should expect with pll overvoltage disabled.

    Corsair AX-1200 watt whining

I'd spank it, and if that didn't help the whining, I'd RMA it.

    Corsair 750 TX enough?

This power supply wattage calculator is pretty good: http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp.

    Stability & Benchmarking software

I recommend linx with the latest linpack binaries. You'll probably have to download the linpack binaries seperately because they're usually out of date. Linx is known to stress systems harder than any other stress test, and I use it for stressing my overclocks.

If your overclock is not 100% stable, does it harm your system?

Have you tried installing the latest linpack binaries for Intel Burn Test and installing Windows 7 SP1? The old linpack binaries don't stress sandy bridge processors enough, so you can pass a stress test with it and still not be stable. I'm guessing that's the problem. You need SP1 to use the...

    Is Biostar's P67 B3 out before others?

It was a pretty minor change, and it was really affecting their bottom line to not have any 1155 motherboards for sale, so it seems doable to do it in a month. I know I wouldn't have bought an 1156 or 1366 if I knew sandy bridge had already been released.

    post your Crysis 2 performance

I don't think you read his signature. His system is about as good as you can get. Beats the hell out of mine at least.

    Considering 2500k over 2600k

The lowest I've seen anyone be able to go with a 2500k is 4.4, and that's with pll overvoltage disabled. Most can hit 4.6 pretty easily. Incase you don't know, pll overvoltage is an added feature in newer BIOS versions for sandy bridge motherboards that let you overclock higher than you would...

Asus rampage iii gene booting from sleep state

What hard drive are you using? I had this problem because of a large hard drive. There was an update from microsoft that I had to install for Windows 7. I think that SP1 comes with the patch already, so if you haven't installed it yet, that will probably fix your problem.

    Is 2000Mhz RAM worth it?

I agree with everyone else. I wouldn't even buy 2000mhz ram if I was buying ram for a new build and didn't already have other ram. 1600mhz can usually be overclocked to 1866 or even 2000.

    CAS 9 vs CAS 7?

Like everyone else is saying, it usually doesn't make a huge difference (maybe 2-3%), but you'll probably be able to overclock the memory a little higher. I'd probably go with the CAS 9.

    Mixing Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB(2 x 2GB) and Patriot G series ‘Sector 5’ 8GB(2 x 4GB)?

It's usually not a good idea to mix different types of memory (especially if the CAS timing is different). Some motherboards support setting different timings depending on the channel, so if yours does, that may work, but I'd probably try to set the timings the same. Just set the timings based...

    Question about B3 RMA

I think that ASUS is doing the advanced RMA for all motherboards (not just the upper end) for this recall.
