Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I did reformat actually. Just did that earlier today. The annoying pauses are still there. At the moment I'm struggling with how to correctly flash the BIOS...see my other thread here:

addendum #2: the aforementioned "DON'T FLASH FROM A FLOPPY DISK" is not in the instructions linked above, it's in the readme file that came in the BIOS zip file.
Help!

nForce 4.27

I'm starting to think it might be a power issue. I'm using the 380W Truepower that came with the Antec Sonata.
Thoughts?

1. extract the files to c:\test
2. make an ms-dos boot disk
3. boot off the boot disk, takes you to the a:\> prompt
4. go to c:
5. cd...
