    What would you suggest?

So I've got my rig built after about 5 or 6 months of research, and the windows 95 speakers that I'm using right now are not working out for me. I have an awesome computer held back by speakers imo. I'm not really sure about what speakers to pick up. I would like to keep it under 100$. 5.1...

    PB5 & 6400 - What RAM?

I went with the Corsair DDR2 800 2x 1GB sicks with 5-5-5-12 timings. I'm at school right now and don't have access to newegg.......But you can search the egg and you can find them. I probably spent to much on it 280 before rebate and 240 after. But its good RAM and i like it so far.

Poll: DS3 or P5B-E for me?

Go with the P5B-E....I just set up my new rig and have the P5B in it. I had no problems what so ever with the board. I have read reviews about the DS-3 and its northbridge not staying cool and being to hot to touch. The P5-B has reasonable OC'ing and is a good stable board. I have an E6400...

intel core 2 duo ! on intel board or Asus, who is better.

I just got my new rig put together and I am now running an E6400 on and Asus P5B. It was a smooth build (my first). Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 memory worked perfectly in it. My 7900GTO doesn't conflict with the southbridge, which i was worried about, and it was easy to install and update BIOS and...

    PSU good enough?

Alright...so what exactly is wrong with the X-infinity? It powers my rig just fine with a little bit of headroom. Its not like it will work for a while and then shut down. From what i have did on it , it seems to game just fine so far. I went from 40FPS on CS:S to 140 with no problems. It...

    PSU good enough?

Well, it wasnt an Apevia 600W. The other was an Apex which looked like it matched my case somewhat. Case and now that ive looked again....it doesnt seem to. But, i will take johnnys advice. Seems like a good supply and he doesnt seem to be the kind to be wrong ever.....or at least 99% of the...
