Megadeth thanks for your replies...would the plain NF7 v2 work just as well as the NF7-S v2? I have no need for the extra features, just want a fast stable board. I assume both would work, but don't want to make another mistake.
I have tried the most recent BIOS for this board with no luck. I bought this board because the other board I tried had the same problem...was hoping this one would be different. If this is the case can someone recommend a board to me that would work with the Athlon XP-M 2600+?
I just got this combo: Abit KV7 and (Barton) Mobile 2600+. Not exactly cutting edge, but I have a few problems.
1) The KV7 does not recognize the CPU and defaults to 6x100 with no option to change the multiplier and only options for 100-132 FSB.
