Seeing as the game you pictured (at least appears) to be TFC, do you think you could try it with TF2 or HL2 for reference? I know my little EEE 701 will actually run HL2 when overclocked at a somewhat playable speed (you CAN play at 5fps, with impulse 101 and god mode ;)), and any HL1 based...
Well, i can say this, moding the fridge to stay on 100% of the time sould be as easy as cut, strip and tape.... Just shirt the thermostat and you;re good to go.
Just go EVGA. EVGA's warenty kicks ass and you can just OC the thing your self without voiding it. So what's the point of going with the pre-overclocked one if that one is void as soon as you click up on the clock speed?
Also, get the video card as late as you cna and still get a discount at...
If you're willing to pay $40 to have it done, Performance PC's has a pre-moded Antec P180 with a dule rad in the top. It looks a little pricy at first, but you have to factoer in $30 worth of fans and a $40 rad.
If oyu want to do it your self, the Gigibit case, as some have already sugested...
Dang, the real Pentosin shure looks better then the stuff I got from the VW place the other day... Much clearer, and less green... Though I will say it was a LOT cheaper. I got trice as much for what your payed for that +shipping ;) .
I'll say this, my old Koolance PC2 (the old crappy looking one) performs better with my HIGHLY OC'd Barton (2.7ghz +.2v) and 6800 NU AGP (649mhz!!!, 1.5v) then my swiftech system in my current rig (see sig). My koolance rig is of the same generation as yours, so it's worth it performance wise...
Alphacool Laing DDC Ultra (also called the DDC plus) would perform a bit better in MOST systems becuse of the higher head, but it wont make a huge diffrence in actual cooling. Just get the cheapest.
I have one, and with a thin rad there is JUST enough room for my A8N-SLI to fit. It's so tight that I actually have to install the ram onto the MB before I stick it in the case, because the clips dont wont open after it's in there (or, well, I guess they will, but not verry far). What DFI board...
Nice isnt it?
On question though... Did you sleave your case your self? Is so, I did the exact same thing on mine!
(sorry about no picutres, cameria is in the car still and it pouring down rain).
Well, I'll say this: Go look at Swiftech's water chiller that uses pelters, and you'll get the picture... It requires two independent 1/2" loops to chill a single 3/8" (1/4" maybe?) loop. Now, if you want an internal and external loop (external could be attached to a chiller, huge RAD, or...
