Okay I have a P4C 3.2 and an X 850 Pro
When I'm clock at 3.4 and I have my x850 pro, wiht 16 pipes unlocked at xt speeds, CS:source, and battlefield 2 dont' artifact (acutally one little dime sized artifact every 5-10 min in battlefield, maybe so I don't classify it as artifacting)
but...
Whenever I play Battlefield 2, and only bf2, when my processors overclocked I get artifacts.
I had a P4C 3.2 @ 3517.9, and a X850 Pro (16 pipes unlocked @ 520/540)
When i clock the processor back down to 3.2 there is no artifacting, and even in source it dosen't artifact irregardless of the...
lol my next question, what kidn of increments should I move in to up my voltage... and is 1.6 pretty much an "across the board" voltage number to keep it under?
Okay, now it isnt' stable, it goes for awhile the locks up adn restarts...temps are good, it was suggested to me that maybe I need to raise my voltage? This sound about right?>
I loosend my timing a bit to 2.5-3-3-6, with my procc @ 3519.70, and it's stable, I was getting memory errors. Now it loads at 52-53, this is okay right?
I"m overclocking my 3.2 Northwood. Right now i've got stock cooling, what can I realistically expect it to do? It's at 3.4 currently, I would love to see 3.6 mabye 3.8.
