Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
They responded to me today... They offered a "HD 2900PRO 512MB "
I took it; I need to be able to use my workstation again. And the 2900PRO isn't bad, especially when compared to the x1900xt I sent them. I see it as an nice upgrade actually.
So in the end I'm happy, but the wait time in...
So Monday came and went, not a word from sapphire. I had to e-mail them.
Then an email from them saying Wednesday a shipment should been in and they would email me. No e-mail.. So yet again I emailed them...
Then again on Thursday "a shipment" would be in they would e-mail me... No...
I pinged them again yesterday morning since it has been about a week sine our last correspondence. I try communicating once a week; as I don't want to get them on my bad side. Although I'm sure one of them has read these posts and figured out who I am.
He said they're getting a shipment in...
It's going on 4 weeks since I sent the card to them and 3 weeks that they have had (or done whatever) with it.
If you read back a bit you can see I asked for a 3850HD. They said "it's not possible"...
I'm very annoyed sitting around just waiting now with no time line...
Not to be rude...
I know someone will find this amusing...
here's my e-mail... in response to them saying they can't give me a HD3850
here's their response ...
I'll await someone taking my $$ numbers above and making up a "priceless" joke.
I'm only posting this so others can see what dealing with them is...
I build computers for people every once in awhile. So I ordered a bunch of Sapphire cards at the same time.
What sucks for me is this is my workstation I use for work. I only had one X1900XT PCI-E installed in it. I have no other PCI-E cards. The others I ordered we for the other computers...
Honestly I spent $300 on my card, I also purchased another X1900XTX at the time. They are aware of this I sent them the wrong invoice by accident the 1st time. I was surprised when they said NO to my invoice the 1st time and asked for the invoice with the X1900XT on it.
I think that card is...
Thanks for the tips; I didn't even think about it exhausting inside the case :(
So far this is my winner... I don't have a lot of $$; But I can't leave my workstation running on my 1994 ATI mach64 /w 2MB of video ram anymore. I'll give Sapphire/Althon Micro another 1-2 weeks...

That is looking mighty tempting ... although I might pick another one since it seems like it needs heat sinks for the memory :(
I got the dreaded email... They asked if I wanted a X1950Pro as a replacement. :(
I thanked them for the offer and said no and explained it was an inferior card (less piplines/slower GPU). I asked if they could replace it with a X1950XT instead.
I just got an email back while I was...
Can you honestly say you would feel comfortable spending your hard earned $$ on a sapphire product knowing this is the kind of treatment you will get if you have problems?
Stop making blanket statements such as "this shit is done by all companies". Your trying to stick some sensationalism into this thread. The reality is it is NOT done by all companies...
I've been building my own PCs since 1992; I work on high end unix servers for a living (SGI, Sun, IBM...
Well I'm in the same boat...
My X1900XT started to distort and have lots of rendering errors.
I called and got the RMA started. They told me 2-4 weeks on the phone when I gave them all of my information including the card model #.
Then a week after I mailed them my card I asked how...
Update: New monitor showed up today. It still has a 2 dead/stuck pixels however you can only see them when the screen is black and you have your face right up to the thing (very dim blue color). Unlike the previous one which i could see red pixels on a white back ground...
So I'm 100%...
