So the black/orange and all-orange YLs from J-T work well? I'll probably get one of each to see how they stack up against each other. I agree that it's probably a quality control issue, but what about the issue of 9 blades vs. 7? That seems like a full-blown counterfeiting problem.

Of course it's a marketing ploy. Like the say, any publicity is good publicity. I don't think I'll bite...the price is just a little too high for a TN panel. Although with what 10e has said about his G2400W, I might spring for one of those and save a few bucks.

I'm probably going to get the Q9300 as well if current prices stand the way they do. Anyone know when the next round of planned Intel price cuts are going to happen?

I'm looking at getting a new 24" monitor, and pretty much the only restriction I have for it is that I don't want a TN panel. What is the cheapest 24" non-TN panel I can pick up nowadays?
