    ASUS PG279Q 144hz 1440P IPS G-Sync

I'm just hoping this monitor won't have QC issues like the other recent 144-Hz. Yeah man that buttery smooth 30 frames per second. Really shows off what your monitor can do.

ASUS Announces ROG SWIFT PG278Q Premium Gaming Monitor

Pathetic, they don't even know their own prices. Given how the release of this monitor has been handled so far, I'm gonna wait a couple months to make sure it doesn't have reliability issues.

Is there a better monitor for gaming than the Asus VG248QE?

I've ordered the VG248QE. Thanks everyone!

Sure they can, but it's a gamble. AFAIK, there's no guarantee that the monitor you get will reach a good overclock.

Mhm, so perhaps I should not dismiss non-120 Hz TN panels? EDIT: Which do you recommend, the VG278H or VG278HE? EDIT #2: Is it me or are some BenQ monitors rather hard to get in the US? I second this question.

Is there a better monitor for gaming than the Asus VG248QE?

I'm currently using an HP LP2475 I bought 5 years ago. IPS panel, wide gamut, fair amount of input lag/blurring (but not too bad compared to its contemporaries). I was aiming for a compromise between image quality and gaming-focused smoothness/responsiveness. I should note I never did any kind...

Nah, I don't think the multiplayer could have been THAT bad. (I wouldn't know, never tried it)

On that note, the single player was terrible.

It's because you're playing with a controller. As for making bullets curve around corners: they already do. Thank lag.

Ha ha 256 players makes no difference when you see less than 40 at any one point.

The hilarious thing is that there are dozens of fanboys praising the game for being "original", as if it weren't the most generic game ever made...

Yeah I've heard good things about the SMG too. I'll check it out. I disagree about the AR, though. I've shot people who were standing in place way more than 3 times before they died. Part of it is lag of course, but lag is part of the game and can't simply be ignored.

The tutorial is only text. Anyway, since HF has greatly helped me on at least two occasions, I'll share a few tips to absolutely destroy in this game: 1. Spend your first 4 skill points getting the Med Kit and Revive ability. The Med Kit can heal either you or an ally to full health (First Aid...
