    Acer Predator XB271HU - 27" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync IPS ULMB 144hz

I also am curious about this... the incredibly low lag on the XB270HU was a big selling point for me. This seems crazy... this monitor is way too new, no ?

    FD R5 Side Panel

Yeah its definitely a great case otherwise, I want to love it but.... haha. And I thought the same thing, that I must not be aligning it right, but after many awkward attempts I don't think its me thats coming up short.

    FD R5 Side Panel

Hello I just got the case and I basically love it except I find the side panel door EXTREMELY annoying to put on. Having it slide off is easy enough but re-attaching it is very cumbersome.. its hard to verbalize in words... its just not a smooth slide on at all... it takes me like over a minute...

So disappointed :( I kinda knew it was too good to be true but I was totally planning on purchasing this as my next monitor if it could do UHD @ 60hz Any good alternatives ?

    Broadwell comming in 2014 then?

My understanding, is that any socket 1150 motherboard you buy is a completely dead end upgrade path, with no chance of support for haswell-e or broadwell. Correct me if I'm wrong ? As for the new V_PROC connection, do you think modular power supplies will provide the cabling to allow this extra...

hexacore ivy bridge or quad core haswell

Just noticed this: http://chipreviews.com/main-feature/main-news/frostbite-2s-limit-6-core-performance-in-battlefield-3/4/ This is basically why I am seriously considering the 6 core ivy chip. The last benchmark showing it OC'd to 4.4 ghz with HT disabled is a SUBSTANCIAL performance increase...

hexacore ivy bridge or quad core haswell

Thanks for the advice WinSomeLoseNone, I think I'll just get a cheaper quad core setup probably. It doesn't seem like you save too much money going ivy bridge and socket 1155 mobo's over haswell and socket 1150 mobo's though...

hexacore ivy bridge or quad core haswell

well rest assured, I will be buying probably the best single GPU money can buy, either R290x or titan, so gpu is not the issue by any means. I guess I'm just gonna wait for official BF4 benchmarks and see how much of an improvement hexacore is, and decide from that.

hexacore ivy bridge or quad core haswell

mixed opinions here... where do I save hundreds ? by not getting the current socket architecture ? and then getting an entirely new mobo/ram setup when skylake drops ?

hexacore ivy bridge or quad core haswell

Hi I am looking into getting a new rig since I have been using the same one since 2007. Looks like you get some significant improvements in BF4 and some other recent games with 6-core CPU's, and I imagine this trend will continue to grow as time goes on. I'm torn which CPU to get...
