    Restaurants Banning Food Photography

Pretty good comparison... an item that will leave your bowels in less then a day (hopefully) vs something you'll be using on a daily basis for 6 months to 3 years. That said, if you feel like blowing enough money on a meal that could have fed a family for a month... that's your...

XFX AMD Radeon™ HD 7870 GHz Edition Graphics Card Lucky Draw

Checking out their spec page... it looks like a pretty decent card. Posting for a shot at it.

Intel Cuts 3Q Revenue Outlook On Softer Demand

They lost a sale from me (and a few other enthusiasts) when they used the crappy TIM on IB. Maybe that's the 1% they're missing. :D

[H]ardOCP & ASUS GeForce GTX 660Ti DirectCU II Giveaway

Not entirely for me... but it would improve my gaming experience. My wife has been eying a few games that I have been playing. I'd love to pop this in her rig so we can play together. Coming from what she's currently using (GTX260)... it would put her in the same realm I'm in at the moment...

    I7 3770k worth it?

I'd suggest against this unless you have absolutely zero plans to overlclock. VT-d (last I checked) wasn't very well supported by VirtualBox. So make sure that whatever you are using (solidly) supports this feature. Even if it does support, you may see better results with a higher clocked...

How are factory overclocked cards overclocked?

Why on earth would you pay for a feature that would require more work/effort on your part... only to gain a lesser product from said effort? You are guaranteed those clocks... I'd just return the card if it doesn't not perform up to spec. If you sat on it (returning the card) too long... then...

Why must the i5 be so expensive?

Call me cynical... ... But having a phase changing liquid in a sealed cap (against PCB) sound like a terribly bad idea. I know... it's not the original intention of your post. I don't think the oil will get hot enough to do this or even expand sufficiently to break the seal... but still...

    Less Power Consuming

Have you tried to underclock the processor? Drop the voltage to it as well? I wouldn't be surprised if you could get it down to 60-80W after everything is said and done. Also, do you have a discrete video card attached to this PC? Onboard video? Is this machine headless? Can it be made...

Will next gen Cards arrive end of this year?

Q4 2012 is when the Quadro based on GK110 is supposed to be released. It's Q1-Q2 of 2013 for GK110. Straight from the mouth of Nvidia's CEO I believe.

Why must the i5 be so expensive?

Can't... tell if serious... or trolling...

    Newegg.com Deals 7/12

Not terrific, but not horrible either. If your patient... The non-reference Asus or Gigabyte cards were selling for about $400 a week or so back. I'd imagine they'll hit that price mark again as soon as they're back at a decent stock level.

    World`s First Commercial Multi-Carrier Technology

Actually... that would be Apple. Making around $25 billion, which is about $1 billion dollars less then Chevron. AT&T and Verizon are fairly low (@ a scant $4 and $2.5 billion) on the profits earned list. Nothing to sneeze at, but certainly no were near #2 on the corporate wallet rape meter.

    World`s First Commercial Multi-Carrier Technology

... The carriers haven't been fighting those wars... Wars tend to be a drain on resources and generally bad for business (unless you're an arms dealer). The problem is that the carriers in the US tend to avoid innovation until they start losing consumers (read: money) over it. ... Unless...

Gigabyte, Asus CUII or CUII TOP Gtx 670?

They're the same card; with the same components. People say that there is better binning (doubtful with the dismal availability of this chip) involved with the TOPs, but the amount of unhappy buyers that can't run at stock settings tells me otherwise. Too many for comfort can't remain stable...
