Yeah, it's possible, but the more I think about it, the more I am inclined to believe that the difference was due to lack of DVI connection for the other monitors. I am also leaning more towards the 710T. -

Best LCD for under $500
The 712N only has the analog connection (no digital). I saw it on display at BestBuy and it sucked compared to NEC 1765 (which also has analog connection only). Well, I have pretty much decided on an LCD rather than the CRT. The question though is which? 'Cause that NEC 1765 looked amazing in terms of quality, but again, all the monitors where probably on the analog connection, so the DVI might close the gap. To the people who got the 710T, did you... -
