    Unless you are upgrading from something pretty old, the component that will give you the biggest performance boost is an ssd. Buying anything new without having budgeted for an ssd is a mistake.

    Build one yourself. Buying now? Sandy bridge core i5 2600. Motherboard that has UEFI instead of bios Solid state boot drive. Nvidia 560 or amd 6850. If you are buying in a little, there will be some different choices in a couple months.

    Yup, I bought the samuel 17 based on this post (after checking out a few reviews). :) I'm using the sg07 case, though... mostly so I didn't have to worry about the psu. I am using a noctua fan on the cooler, and I'm trying to figure out if the system fan and the cpu fan are now jumbling up...

    Alright, thanks for the reassurance. The manual for this thing was pretty sparse, but other then the orientation question, the installation of the heat sink was very easy and fit very well on the gigabyte board.
