    Ok i got some brass washers, ended up having to use 3 under each standoff but it seems to do the trick. Had to remove the I/O shield and make a packer for the expansion cards though. TY for your help aphasia.

    thanks aphasia. Yeah i did think about adding a washer on the motherboard tray side of the standoffs, but the problem with that is the i/o ports/expansion cards might not line up with the case back panel properly.

    I could just use the screws that go in thruogh the back plus the plastic standoffs, i dont want to damage the board though by bending it so i would rather use a backplate. I forgot to mention im using an 1155 socket. but i cant see how the ek supreme backplate could work for anybody with 1155...

    Has anyone else had problem installing a motherboard with the ek supreme hf backplate? when installing it as per the instructions with the standoffs, rubber mat + backplate it protrudes higher than the motherboard standoffs for my case making it impossible to install the mobo into the case...
