mm lets see 1 proc , 2048 ram, 30gb hdd. i waited pretty long. i went to shower and came back its still blinking and stuff. im running hyper-v off the manager list itself.
i can't get my guest to run at all. i was able to install and eveything, but after the reboot and updates. it just stop at the blinking dash. anyone encounter this problem before? anyone can help ?
okay, maybe i should run server2008 on vmware instead to play around with the server roles. yeah i read about the superfetch and it was really a huge disadvantage against the windows 7. i'll just stick to the windows 7 and get virtualbox instead. thanks for the input guys. that really help me...
thanks for the input:) i read a few articles on it and found out that windows server 2008 R2 doesn't support superfetch. One thing i wana try windows server 2008 R2 is that i could use the Hyper-V to create many virtual machines. Or is having windows 7 + vmware a much better choice?
anyone using windows server 2008 as a desktop? is there any disadvantage of using windows server 2008 than windows 7 as a desktop? cuz i was thinking of playing around with Hyper-V w/ the added windows 7 theme.
can anyone kindly list out the pros and cons? thanks :)
anyone tried this board before? any comments on it? i feel like getting one of this board, it has everything inside. comments are welcome. thanks :)

thanks again man!
i did powercfg -lastwake and no device was shown. Computer still autowakes immediately when i went to sleep. I tried the links u gave adidas4275 and i had every setting set but still the same problem arises. i figured that when i detached my usb IR reciever which controls my remote. the problem...
i've just gotten this remote off newegg. Mediagate GP-IR02BK and when i try to sleep my htpc, it went to sleep and went back on again. it wouldn't stay sleep at all. When the computer wakes up, the IR reciever stop working anymore. i already disabled all of the devices and NIC card to prevent it...
but since it comes out from ATI/DIN(Whic his S/video, correct me if i'm wrong) wouldnt the image be the same as s/video, since u cant increase the image resolution but only decrease?
