    the "short circuit protection" is it the glass tube inside the psu? That glass tube inside the psu is some kind of "safe" right? I think its that part that i need to replace in order to get it to work. Anyone know what the glass tubes with metal in the ends are called? :)

    yeah im pretty sure, as it was my old computer i tested it on first, wich had been working with my old psu later that day, i only switched it out to try it out. also im pretty sure it was only the psu that got damaged, but im no expert with psu's so. however i have built alot of computers...

    Hi, my new system came today, and when i had put it all togheter to switch the power on -> *poof*, and the safe in the house went out, and i can recall hearing a noise form the psu. Now it seems that the PSU is completely dead, dont have any tools to measure it exept trying to start it with...

    Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 1.1 Microsoft Wired Keyboard Slim 500 Black Great performance on this mouse combined with Icemat v2. And cost is really low, and since mouse/kb are wear and tear if you game/use the computer alot that is a nice thing...
