Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Good news, I suppose. Hopefully the sticks are just bad and you can RMA them. That would've really sucked if the board was limited to 400. Tested max FSB yet? ;)
If you haven't seen this thread yet, you might want to check it out, there's a lot of good info on page 4...
If you were selling this 3 weeks from now I'd jump on it in a second :( I think my friend is looking for a GPU block, though, I'll let him know you have one for a great price :)
Oh, alright, I just figured that it would be 2 green or 2 orange because of the color scheme. My RAM heatsinks are huge, they cover I'd say 2 mm over the socket edges on each side, so that's good to know. Thanks for the info, and good luck on getting that system into the crazy FSBs.
Let me know how it turns out.
Also, if you could do me a small favor when you start to swap parts out, please measure the space from one RAM slot (where the pins go) to the slot on the dual-channel equivalent. I know it's weird, but I need to know if my RAM will fit  Thanks.
That makes sense. It seems to be what's happening, too. I googled what you said and there are cases popping up all over the place.
Thanks for the info.
I'm hoping it's the modem, because that's easily replaceable, but if it's Charter :( Just one more reason to hate them, I guess.
@Xeon711 - Cable, my modem's a 1.5+ year old motorola SB4200, but it seems to be Charter, as my regular down speed is fine, it's only a problem with torrents.
I...
This problem has been bugging me for a long time, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.. Whenever I forward a port for uTorrent, it runs perfect for 30 mins to an hour and then speeds drop down to a few kbps. It just happened again now, and it dropped from 150 to 2.6 in a matter of seconds...
You're really turning me away from this board, and I thought it would go 550+
I'm sorry but I have no more useful advice, as I don't own this or any P35 board for that matter. I'm going to say feed that NB some extra volts and get it as cold as possible and see what you can get, you...
Just to let you guys know, I also run the 7800GS (AGP) from BFG, and I can hit 450/725 without any problems. My max load temp is 46 with the fan going 100%. It's wicked loud, but when gaming my speakers are cranked up to 11 ;)
Edit: At those settings I can play the COD4 demo at I'd say...
Sorry mate, for some reason I thought your response was somebody else helping  sorry about that
So do you have it set at 1:1 right now? if not, set it to that, and then check your RAM voltage and see if it's on spec with what your OCZ wants. I'm pretty sure it's 2.1v stock, but...
