Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Switching inputs on the monitor not physical connections.
the devcon restart is a nice option. But both monitors stay asleep. So no way to enter the command. I guess I could bind it to a "G" key and try. Might do that later tonight.
Yesterday morning I updated my desktop to 15.7.1 (280x) and went to work as everything seemed to be working well. While at work I updated my work machine to 15.7.1 (260x) as well. I rebooted both PC's after the updates.
When I got home from work yesterday the monitors would not wake up...
It really depends. If they are up front and say this extra revenue will allow them to give viewers better content, then I could justify it and continue my sub. But if after a short time the content stays just as stale, I would have to cut my sub. I tend to believe it's not just dollars...

I stopped reading when the OP said you had to steal taxi's as I assumed it must be a troll as it's quite easy to get in the back seat of a cab that you wave down.

At my house I use one of these for the routing. level 6 license

and one of these for WiFi. I love the mikrotik WiFi options. Level 5 license

The second router will actually do everything you requested. But I am not...
Mikrotik/Cisco compatibility question.
Our provider is supplying a 1000Base LX connection with a Cisco WS-G5486 (1310nm 1000BaseLX) transceiver.
I am running a mikrotik S-31DLC20D transceiver, but I can't find anywhere in the specs regarding the LX spec. It is 1310nm. Would anyone know if...
Thanks BDS
Unfortunately the SFP I have does not support the 1.25GB link that my provider is using.
After spending some time with the gear. I decided to use the 260GS switch to bridge it. Not sure why it didn't dawn on me earlier just to use the switch. Keep thinking these little...
Hi guys. You have been great in the past for answers so I figured I'd try you guys again.
After being misinformed by my supplier I ordered a CCR1036-8G-2S+ (SFP+ model) under the impression it would support 1.25Gb SFP's. But after recieving them and having no luck. I found with a very little...
Yea they are keeping the gateway x.x.x.1/24 on their own equipment, and will only do BGP for any other routing.
I have been doing a lot of research regarding BGP, from what I am reading I cannot get an ASN until I have two ISP's? Would love to jump on that train, but it sounds intimidating.
Thanks for the replies. So I'm at the mercy of the ISP then. Really comes down to whether they want to connect on a RFC space with a static route or not.
They gave me a gateway address on the same subnet as my /24 saying the x.x.x.2/24 was my first usable address. So I'm guessing they don't...
We are shooting from the hip while we setup our little WISP, and have run into some trouble communicating my request to our provider. Our connection is not live yet, only running it in the lab.
For this example 1.1.1.0/24 is my block from the ISP and 1.1.1.2/24 is my first address and...
