    I'm not using a Domain based network, I'm only on the same Workgroup. Ok, I'll do that! :) I was just trying to prevent having a startup screen asking which user I am... but if that is the only solution... than I'll do that! Thanks. I'll give some feedback as soon as I done that.

    Ok.............. I did this: Since the name of the user on the laptop is "MRVT"....... I went to User Accounts on XP and changed my actual name to the same "MRVT". Then I reboot the machine (just in case...) and......... logged in as MRVT........ went to my laptop and typed \\192.168.0.101...

    :eek: Yeah... the laptop has a different user from the desktop one... May that couse this?? :eek: If so, why does in windows xp i can see everything shared on the laptop without asking any password? Tomorrow I'll create a new user on 98 (laptop) with the same name as I use in XP (desktop)...
