nice one guys thanks! ill connect the tv to the 8800gt. and about eyefinity on the 5770, ive read a few reviews and as long as you dont go crazy with AA and ultra high settings, it seems to be fairly decent! Im waiting for the ferma to come out, and if they arnt great, then ill wait for...

Hey everyone, looking to get some advice on a setup i want. Currently i have a pc connected to a 23" acer hd monitor. I want to add a second 23" and then next month add another 23" monitor so i can use eyefinity. I have a 5770 gpu. the outputs on the card are dvi output displayport...

they are on auto/stock settings. i dont know where i can change them. this is my 5770. the exact same one. could that be due to xfire? im going to try an alternative program to overclock and see if i hit the same limit.

temps are idle around 28-30degrees and under load they hit a max of 58-60 degrees. plenty of head room to play with i think. and thats with the fan on 50% only. ok, ill leave the 8800gt alone since its only for physx and oc wont do anything. it seems the msi afterburner program is hitting a...

ok, just ran a full run of 3dmark06. i had the 5770 running at 950core 1300mem 100% fan and the 8800gt at 750core 1000mem. whats holding me back? surely i can get more than that?

nice stats. im using afterburner. i reckon its my fan setup in my case thats causing my higher temps, so im going to replace the fans and do some better airflow through the case. hopefully i can lower my temps quite a bit and then push the card higher. nice one. thanks!

not sure how these results are faring out, but hopefully you guys can suggest what to do next! ok, ive got a qx6700 @ 3.4ghz and a p5q deluxe mobo with 8gb of reaper ram. hd5770 oc'd to 900core 1300mem and an 8800gt 512mb doing physx. ive ran furmark for ages and temps seem decent. furmark...

yeah but its usually 3 months before it heats up here, so id reduce the overclock at that stage.

ive just bought a new 5770 to replace my 8800gt. is it possible to use the 8800gt for physix? id so, do i need a cracked driver and where could i get one? thanks for any info!
