Yes, it looks like 2 of the heat pipes will be above the GPU and two below...just like the good orientation of the CPU heat sink. I wonder how cooling in this orientation compares to a traditional configuration where the card and heatsink are horizontal, but the heat pipes end up below the...

I've owned 3 Lian-Li cases and I've had silencing or cooling problems with all of them. They look super sharp...the best Lian-Li cases look better then the FT02 I think (aluminum drive bezels, what?), but, for me, the FT02 does a much better job of balancing looks and cooling.

I bought my wire saddles at Lowes, but FrozenCPU has them too if you want a color other than white: http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g2/c34/s806/list/p1/Cables-Wire_Management-Wire_Saddles-Page1.html. I used the screws the came with the case...or motherboard...I forget which, but I had some...

Post your "rate my cables" here

My recent FT02 build. I've actually loosened the cabling in the back up a bit since these pictures were taken so it looks a little cleaner.

USB 3.0 came today. Install was easy, took 10 minutes tops, and most of that was re-routing cables. Now if I only had a USB 3.0 device...

The AC NV Silencer Fives I used on my old Geforce 6800s were good. I know some people use Shamans and AXPs and have good results: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1036778289&postcount=2173.

I ordered it for my ft02. It wasn't on their website; I emailed them asking about a "USB 3.0 retrofit kit for my case" using the form here: http://www.silverstonetek.com/contactus.php. Joel emailed me back very quickly. No idea what the install process will be.

The HD cage is riveted to the case and bay above it with ~9 rivets that are probably fairly easy to punch out, but not get back in.

Do you mean the one that sits in the drive bay? That's a good solution, though something similar came with my Asus P8P67 Deluxe, but I haven't installed it. I also wish they had a retrofit kit for the ones on top of the case. Maybe I can swap those out some how.

As you can see above, it fits my Asus GTX 580 DCII no problem. That card is listed as 11.5", which is as long or longer than the GTX 590s listed on Newegg.

I've seen a few ways to stealth the optical drive, none of which seemed very clean. This german guy hacks up a Lian Li bezel to do it, but never really shows you what he did, but I know it involves lots of glue: YouTube - ‪Stealth Mod for Silverstone FT02 with Lian Li...

Yes, thanks very much for your info Kisakuku. I modeled my fan hookups after you and totally copied your novibes idea -- which works really well. > Where did you get those nifty thumbscrews and sound-dampening foam? Thumbscrews...

I just finished my build of the ft02. Coming from a series of Lian-Li's I was hesitant to switch, but I'm glad I did as its cooling is incredible and it's so quiet. I've not played with the OC settings too much, but right now I have my 2600k OC'd to 4.5gHz @ 1.3V. For temperatures, it's...
