    Anandtech did a comparison. http://anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2795&p=4 Some apps show very little change with the extra cache, others show an 8-10% performance gain with it. There was at least one other website that did a comparison as well but I don't recall which one it was.
