Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
A couple of suggestions, not actually answering all your questions but here we go:
It seems like to me, you would need a main amp at your server, and then one in each room. This would be two-fold. The main amp would power all the speakers, if you wanted to listen to the same thing in each...
The LG550 is currently on sale at Amazon for $99. It offers Blu-ray plus Netflix, Pandora, Vudu and others.
I would probably pick that up as for the money, you are not going to find something more well rounded for playing Netflix AND BD's.
I just thought about something....not sure it's worth anything, but I guess it's worth a shot. Do you have CEC enabled on the TV? I'm not at home right now, but basically it allows the tv to automatically change which input you are using when you power up a device that is connected via HDMI...
It sounds almost like the pc is not auto-detecting the display. Have you tried to go into display properties and force it to scan for a second "monitor"? Is it showing anything there about having two displays connected?
I have last years model of that particular tv and don't have any...
I purchased this exact tv, on Black Friday from Best Buy when they had it for $799. Here are my thoughts:
I love the size for the price. All HD channels are absolutely beautiful with no problems from any viewing angle. My living room is about 15' deep and 20' wide and there is no place that...
Quick update--Finally got it working correctly. I removed the card and then cleaned all the existing drivers out including WinTV. After I re-added the card but Windows wouldn't find a driver on it's own. I finally found the original driver disc that came with the card and used a driver from...
It may be a MC issue, but I'm not finding anything in Google, or maybe I'm not using the correct search terms.
Yes, I have tried to run the Channel Setup, but it still only wants to let me set up Digital channels rather than Analog.
I even tried during the "Automated Setup" to use 00000...
I recently rebuilt my desktop/bedroom HTPC and upgraded to Win7 Pro at the same time. I replace my mb, ram, proc, and ps as I was having some unrelated issues before.
Since I did a fresh install of Win7 Pro, I cannot get MC to detect that I have an analog cable tuner. I am using a...
If anyone made a three-way switch that is impedence matching, wouldn't that work as well? That way each room you could have one leg of the switch hooked up to a computer, one leg to the main system and the third leg would be off. However, you would probably need some type of small cheap amp...
What about the fan? My Mitsu 60" has a fan that runs upon startup and for about 2 minutes after shutdown in order to extend the life of the lamp. Try taking a long screwdriver and putting the metal tip to different parts on/in the tv, and the other end to your ear. Believe it or not it will...
Well I wasn't really worried by it, since it was one click and everything back to normal. But now that I've been looking a little closer my HDD usage is pegged at that time when it locks then clicks. I guess I'll ghost my 160 over to my 500 and be done with it.
Thanks for the advice guys...
What I am experiencing is that from time to time, mainly just under normal surfing conditions or low load conditions, the entire pc stops responding for 1-10 seconds. Just before it starts to respond again, I hear a little click from the tower (Mozart Tx case) and everything is working again...
Silicone would probably work. However I would drain the loop take out the radiator, and sand that part down. Then take a little JB Weld and that would close it up better and more permanently than just silicone.
