EVGA Showcases New Nu Audio Pro Card

Yes, it is shielded. This particular position is temporary - I'm building a new system in a CaseLabs TH10 Magnum case and will be moving the watercooling stuff away from the sound card. That being said, I don't notice any signal distortion or inteference as it is.

Gamers are ditching Radeon graphics cards over driver issues

The specific problems in question here are isolated to the RDNA cards, not your Vega 56 or the Polaris GPUs. I haven't had a single issue with my NVIDIA cards across multiple systems and generations. My AMD cards have also been pretty good, but only in single GPU. Dual GPU was always a mess...

Gamers are ditching Radeon graphics cards over driver issues

Kinda wish Kyle was still around with HardOCP to investigate this type of stuff.

Cliff Bleszinski openly admits going woke can hurt games.

I don't remember any sort of political or "woke culture" outrage over this game at all. CliffyB has said some dumb shit over the years and has a lot of detractors for that, sure, but a high-skill arena shooter isn't really what the market wants anymore. He's a creative guy with bad business...

    Is VR even worth it?

If you are into sim racing or just cars in general, VR is 110% worth it. It's incredible. iRacing in particular is a fantastic VR game.

Intel Xe DG1 GPU Up To 40% Faster Than AMD Vega Integrated

Let me preface this by saying I want Intel to be successful in graphics because we are in dire need of a true competitor to NVIDIA. That being said - I will not be excited about these chips until we have full retail variants running retail drivers in retail games, in hand by objective third...

    New Nvidia Driver: 442.19

GFE isn't a replacement for the control panel so pushing it to the Windows Store has nothing to do with GFE. They stated it was due to some policy changes from MS in the latest build of Windows 10, but I have no idea. I installed it from the Windows Store and it was working fine after that.

Intel Corporation Appoints New Chairman With Experience

Acquisitions are very common amongst companies the size of Intel. I'm not sure that alone is a sign that they can't innovate.

Intel’s High-End 2nd Generation Xe DG2 GPU To Be Based On TSMC’s 7nm Process Node

It was more of a tongue in cheek comment about their current fab capabilities, not a shot at you :) It makes sense for them to farm out their GPU production to start with since they don't have anything tailored for that process and they can't meet demand for their CPUs as it is.

Intel’s High-End 2nd Generation Xe DG2 GPU To Be Based On TSMC’s 7nm Process Node

Are you expecting them to make a 14nm GPU? They don't have anything else up and running yet aside from a handful of 10nm laptop chips and they're already strained for capacity.

Crytek's lawsuit over Star Citizen using Cryengine continues heating up

Yes, Amazon forked CryEngine for Lumberyard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Lumberyard

    AMD’s High-End ‘Radeon RX’

Close to 2080 Ti performance, delivered in 2020, isn't really exciting unless it's $500-600. To me personally, anyway. And at this point with NVIDIA I'm waiting on the 3000 series, RTX is not worth the money for the upgrade. I hope I am surprised.

Newegg philosophy: 3 day delivery does not include 2 days it take to get in mail!

Selection at Best Buy for higher end parts (electronics not WC stuff) has been poor IME, but I could be wrong. Haven't checked lately.

Newegg philosophy: 3 day delivery does not include 2 days it take to get in mail!

Okay so: Amazon treats employees poorly NewEgg has terrible business practices and shitty user market and slow shipping MicroCenter does not exist in my state Where else can I buy from that has good prices and reasonable shipping? I buy watercooling parts from Performance-PCs but I am not...

Gamers hate the Epic Game Store but spent $680 million there anyway.

No, it's me as a consumer voicing that I don't like this business practice, and buy games on the platform I wish. Even EA sells their games on Steam again.
