    5600+ 3.3ghz -3.4ghz BrickWall?

Sorry, but... WHAT A FOOL! Why oh why did you try to meddle with the cpu covering? You shouldn't be allowed a refund on that.

    Inside-amd-performance-lab

I too dislike dual core. Better to get the fastest single core that you can get - programs have a sequential flow that isn't sped up by having a second core. And the multitasking argument sucks. Unfortunately, all the new chips have 2 or more cores and you just have to pay for that.

    onboard LAN mod

Well I have done it. The stainless steel "box" containing 2 usb and 1 lan port was made by "S-Tech". I pressed in 2 tabs near the top corner of each side. Then I prised open the top with a knife. Right at the top, there are 2 sets of 2 solder points. These are clearly connected to the...

    onboard LAN mod

I would like to move the LED for network traffic, which is on the back of my motherboard, to the front of my case. I have a "block" with 2 USB and 1 LAN port that is soldered onto the board. There appear to be 22 pins coming from it, as well as 6 pins that secure it in place. Unfortunately...
