I have a friend that frequents [H] who is an avid gamer, has a similar setup to mine, except he uses a 26" or 28" (can't recall atm) moniter and a GTX 260 (216 core) and he has no issues.
I fall the the camp the feels cost/issues make SLI not appealing to me...
