Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a SanDisk Ultra SSD that is kaput, it was the drive the Win 7 installed. What do you do when you need to RMA the OS drive? Just sit it out? Do you keep a backup hard drive with an OS installed to still be able to use the computer? RAID?
I have had more than my share of hard drive fail...
I don't really care about sound quality so long as it passes a pretty low bar. I currently have some ancient Microsoft Digital Sound System 80 speakers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Sound_System_80) and the quality is fine for me. The problem is that the volume buttons don't work anymore...
I have a new Nexus 4 on Tmobile with their 100 minute, 4GB data plan and it is going to be a little tricky keeping the talk to only 100 minutes a month.

I have a Google Nexus One with ATT. I am looking to get to a cheaper plan and was eyeing the Nexus 4 on T-Mobile but am trying to figure out data speeds.
I know my Nexus One is a 3G phone. And I have seen articles saying that the Nexus 4 is not 4G LTE... So will the Nexus 4 offer better...
I am a little lost when it comes to all of the new Windows 8 tablets.
I am a CS instructor and would rather use a tablet for my general grading and class presentations. I have checked out the Surface at the mall and liked it but RT just wont cut it for me. I need to run other legacy programs...

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming with a little bit of video editing, but that is secondary.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

I am setting up my first RAID setup ever and am a little confused on the difference between the Intel and Adaptec options for the RAID CodeBase. This is on a Supermicro X8SIL-F motherboard.

Looking at it again there will not be enough clearance for the CPU fan under the hard drive bay. So it would take some serious modding to make this fit.

I just got my Lian Li PC-Q08 case. Unfortunately I was expecting to put an X8SIL-F, Micro ATX motherboard in it. Turns out I can't. That will teach me to change my mind about the motherboard at the last second.
So, now what do I do?
Ship the case back to Newegg? I don't really want to...
