Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
There will be a new Qpack case called the Dpack. The motherboard is mounted diagonally, upside down. It will come with a diagonal PCIe & PCI risers, diagonal copper HSF facing down. Huge grill on the bottom and the side. Here's the blueprint:
I'm using SuperStep program that came with the board. I never got overspec message. Before flashing the bios, SuperStep always crashed the PC at 257 FSB. And with the bios setting, it won't post above 276.
After flashing the bios, mine still POST at 300. SuperStep can go up to 321 before it...
The original riser card that comes with the case is AGP only. The PCIe riser must be purchased separately. I used the wattage calculator (http://extreme.outervision.com) before choosing my components, and I get 307W 100% peak with my current setup in the sig plus 2xWDC2500KS Raid 0. No problem...

No, or not yet. I can't run Prime95 at fsb 287 above. It immediately throw me a rounding error. 0.5 instead of 0.4 something after running for 1 minute. At 285 I primed for 10hrs. I think it's just my setup. And 300W running 2 SATA, 6800GS, and 85x9 extra is already amazing :)
My custom bios logo
I put some pictures of my Silverstone LC11M HTPC-SFF in the SFF gallery:

If you want to overclock, use Biostar 6100 or Foxconn 6150. If not Asus 6150 or MSI 6150 has more features.
If you're getting an Opteron, by all mean OC it!!
Ah I forgot to do the NB & SB thermal paste. I'll do that and try again. Thanks for the tip.
With their windows utillity, SuperStep, I could reach 320+ after the update. Kind of weird because the bios can only support up to 300. Before flashing the bios, SuperStep will always crash the system...
I managed to get 285 stable with my Opteron144. But above that Prime95 keeps giving me rounding error message.
Pre-bios update, the motherboard max is 275. Above that it won't post.
Anyone know what causes rounding error? I lowered memory clock & timing, upped vcore, and still no luck...
I have my Advanced Chipset > Frame Buffer Size and set to Disabled. I think it disables the onboard video. Anyway the onboard video should automatically disabled if you put in a graphics card. I agree about the monitoring utillity though. Temp monitoring is included in the stepping program...
My wishlist for Santa this year:
