"You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide."
Joseph Goebbels (Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda) coined that term in the run up to WW2. It was also said by a character in Orwell's 1984 (which was published in 1949 btw).
It seems modern media now act as 'Public...
So at a bare minimum it would need to hit 75hz/fps at 1920x1080 to be passable. Lower refresh rates/fps ruin the experience, and the Rift DK1's resolution of 1280x800 produces a notable screen door effect.
I can't see how either of the consoles can pull this off well.
The cloud? Heh
A couple of weeks ago they had important people telling us they don't collect this crap - under oath. The powers that be are all liars and take the general public for fools (I guess they are). I hope the public wake up, because TPTB keep taking more and more from us.
Online petitions mean bugger all, and even if they did mean something the US government is beyond caring. The frequency of lies and all the mysterious deaths/"suicides" is frankly ridiculous.
But obviously I must be a nutjob for thinking this....
The way Gearbox handled the whole Alien:CM thing means I'm done with them. They bullshit their way through development of the game (whether they made it or not isn't relevant) and continue to bullshit and claim innocence to this very day.
Pack of liars.
I'm not too bothered if it's done to Let's Play videos, but if it covers reviews/guides etc then it's a bit crap.
Imo if you want to make a career out of Youtubing you need to do something a little more than live commentary on a game. Any moron can do it, and may harm singleplayer game sales...
The way Metacritic averages scores is incorrect. A game review site that uses a rating of 1 to 5 to score games will rate games at 5 (i.e. 100% to Metacritic) more than reviewers who use a 1-10 system or percentage. Mathematically a 5/5 is the same as 10/10 or 100/100 but when you're talking...
It's not just Windows 8 and tablets that may be eating into PC sales. The general slowdown in technology has to play a part. My 3 year old i7 based system is still going strong so I don't feel the need to update and I'm a power user. Why would the average user want to update their few years...
Meanwhile, Gearbox (the company who got the rights from Sega to make the game outsourced it to make their own games instead) is laughing all the way to the bank.
Even though I didn't buy A:CM I won't be purchasing any Gearbox titles in the future. Bunch of liars, especially their CEO.
Would...
