Agreed. Suddenly it's a moral issue now due to the extent that it's being done. There's a hipocracy in saying that it's ok to copy a song off of the radio onto a cassette but it's wrong to download a song onto an iPod.
In regards to photoshop and other highend productivity programs, I'd say...
I'm curious as to why it wouldn't (from the perspective of a pirate). Free without any reprecusions short of guilt will always be more attractive than paying even if it is cheap.
Chris Vrenna of NIN & Tweeker fame did the D3 title song. He also did American Magee's Alice and a few other games. He's a very multi-talented kind of guy.
I'm sure many of us here don't agree that that is a good reason to ignore a system, but that is the general opinion of the masses. As for one product cycle killing a company...<cough>SEGA<cough>
No, they just did it cheaper. The Lynx was pretty mainstream right before GB's release, or at least a good number of people I knew had one. But the point was you were implying the GB was the first of it's kind.
Gameboy's release in Japan: 1989
Gameboy's release in US: 1991
Atari Lynx's release in US: 1989
As far as GB Japan and Lynx US, I don't know who beat out who month-wise, but the Lynx was color. So there goes that argument. I'm not arguing this either way though, Torgo has it correct.
As cool as this could be, I have to wonder what this would do for the fps/driving/street fighter-esque genres. It seems they'd kill off a lot of marketability with this just to get a few innovative games. I love nintendo over the other guys (with the exception of my dreamcast), but they do have...
I'd wonder if there is some kind of lighting film (gels as they're called) that will block the purple but not the UV, seems plausable. That way your UV stuff would glow, but you would see no lighting.
I'm not one to diss anyone's case choices, especially when they plan to mod it...but do take another look at that case cause the cooling for it is about as bad as you can get short of not having any fans at all, and every review I've seen has said the door broke off within 10 minutes. Just be...
