    I've used my Dell 19" LCD as well. Same thing. Interpolation is a issue that effects ALL LCD's. Native resolutions are the nature of the hardware. It has nothing to do with if its a laptop screen or not. (there are a ton of "gaming" laptops out there nowadays).
