Its sitting right next to an hp zr24w which is calibrated and has pretty accurate colors and I in no way would return this crossover based on just colors. Its a very good panel. No pwm, great response and low input lag, all for $500 is a steal imo. Oh and bios access :)
If everything was equal, specs and price I would go with Crossover since they have more experience making monitors, overclockable ones also. WM is relatively new in the monitor space and have made primarily tvs in the past. Not saying anything is wrong with WM, its just if everything is equal...
Where in the heck do you see 75%?

It doesn't even get that close in synthetic benches. Less in multimedia and even less of a difference in gaming. If I were to jump to Skylake, I bet I may...
Have you looked into a Westmere Xeon? Roughly 100 bucks (and make the overclocking jump) and you'll find that Skylake won't be that much of an upgrade.
I would go large screen. Like 40in minimum. Its easily the biggest and dramatic change I have made to my gaming in a decade. If you don't really care about high hertz, big screen is next. The immersion is awesome!
FYI the ppi is about the same for these configs (109-110ppi)
4K at 40in =...
So, I bought when this came around the first time and I was shut down by newegg twice. They just wouldn't budge since the email they had for the purchase order was a Jet email. I emailed jet from someone else's advice and Jet forwarded the game code to me, but I heard others getting denied...
I see crossover recommended more often. They've been in the monitor business longer and thus when everything seems equal spec wise, crossover is the more mature brand.
Curious if anyone here has upgraded to Win 10 yet and if there have been any issues associated with X58 or is it smooth sailing? Hopefully I'll be upgrading this weekend.
Yeah, I've had mine for a week so far and its just been an awesome experience. Its just such a pleasure to game and watch movies on a large 4K monitor, and especially at the price, nothing comes close in my opinion.
