So if i get like a 9800GTX or something or a GTS250 and use it in my 2nd slot would it be worth my while rather than getting a 4870 to xfire with my current one? I have a good CPU
I haven't been able ot break the 4.0 Barrier yet.... I can get it stable at 3.975 but i can't get it the extra 25mhz.... Voltage is at 1.4 multiplier is at 19.5... Raise either alil bit and it won't even start up and I have to basically rebuild my computer (hardware wise) Replug in stuff...

K so i just received this proc today. everything looked fine popped it in my computer started up fine... just gotta get it to actually OC and get up to it's stated 3.2 which i cannot b/c of the cool n quiet thing. I turned off C&N and OCed it in bios started up and still only read it at...
If you're looking to buy the 900 or 902 i'd say get the 900.... the 902 is not worth 60$ more... and if you were gonna spend that much i'd say get the 1200.
Logical workstation.... but some people look to spend that kind of money on a gaming desktop which is stupid. The title of this thread and the way you explain performance is misleading. overall a good build... those CPU coolers are monsters just make sure you get the tension brackets for em so...
the 4890 ATM is a waste. the 3-8 FPS difference in crysis is not worth the extra 60$. Get the Sapphire 1gb 4870 (non reference cooler) for 190 i have it... get aobut 24FPS in crysis with a crappy AMD dualcore at high rez and enthusiast settings. the 4890 is overprices ATM
I'd say if you can afford it get the Antec Signature 850. I'm pretty sure those are made by seasonic and are REALLY nice PSUs Or you oculd get an Antec TruePower Quattro 850 or even the 1000(which i have and is a very nice PSU)
Mushkin is high quality RAM. If you have problems with mushkin then you musta gottens ome bad RAM
My experiences have been the exact opposite as yours. I'd buy corsair, I BUY corsair, it's just mushkin makes better sticks from what i've had.
