    DDR2-800 memory for P5K-VM

I've tried two different 2x1GB kits in my P5K-VM and none of them work at DDR2-800 even if I push the voltage all the way up to 2.1V. I either get memtest failures or BSODs. The kits I have tried are the OCZ 2G8002GK (rated @ 2.1V) and 2P800R22GK (rated @ 1.9-2.1V). Again I have tried pushing...

    Corsair HX620 620w Power Supply @ [H]

It's nice to see another site doing correct PSU reviews, but what's the point of reviewing a unit that everyone already knows is excellent? I think you should review some PSUs that don't get too many reviews, especially budget PSUs like XClio and FSP, so we can finally see how they stack up to...

    What Voltage???

at stock speed it's fine to run it at the mobo's auto voltage, but if you're OCing then push the voltage to what the RAM is rated at.

    Build Complete Opinions welcome

what are you going to trust: load and ripple tests by seasoned reviewers that prove Raidmax to be a crappy PSU maker, or "a guy at fry's," a store which does not pride itself on its customer service. chances are, that PSU will die within 6-12 months and possibly take other components with it...

Recommend a PSU for ASUS P5B Deluxe

the PSUs I recommended are perfect for that I have the same config as you with 7900GS and 2GB RAM instead of 1GB, CPU overclocked to 3.4GHz with 425MHz FSB and it only draws 250W under load.
