    I did those same steps from arctic silver's website but I still am getting horrible temps. I put a rice grain size as seen up above, and I wiggled the heatsink to spread it out. But my temps are still at 41-43 idle at stock speeds! :(

    haha i replaced my exahust fan near my cpu with a vantec tornado.....my case temps lowered 10C! :) But now I'm about to go deaf.....:mad:

    there's also cooler master but I dont know much about how well constructed they are....but they seem similar to lian li cases....though I would stick with lian li they have been around for awhile and make superior cases :D

    if you buy the case with pre-installed fans you'll most likely want to replace some of them because they are pretty low quality, especially the blow hole on the top......but other than that the case is well built, pretty much every screw is a thumbscrew, everything is easy to install....

    well you just described a lian li case in a nut shell.....my lian li pc-65 has four case fans, removable hard drive cage, aluminium, and a removable motherboard tray.....it will prolly run you about $125

    a little off the subject but hey....what i dont understand is everyone gets outstanding idle and load temps with the Zalman and im gettin crappy ones....I followed arcticsilver's website exactly....I put just a rice grain of thermal paste in the center of the p4 but no luck! temps at like 43C...

    my room is prolly a little cooler than room temperature, case temps get up to 32 C.....my case is right near a window as well so it should be alright......do you think better fans would help? The current ones came with the case and I would assume are pretty crappy......but anyway ill defnitely...
