    Nvidia 980/970 Availability Thread

I had 1 day prime, but I guess that it's a bit of a fool's bargain to hope on that when it might not even be in stock for awhile. I decided to jump on the Newegg SC card and took advantage of ShopRunner. Thanks!

    Nvidia 980/970 Availability Thread

I kind of waffled a bit before going with the EVGA GTX 980 on Amazon at 12:30. It said 2-5 weeks. Does Amazon often get stock refreshed in the morning?

    Upgrading to Haswell

I'm thinking I'll go for the MSI Z87-GD65 Combo, it has those extra ports I want and looks really solid. I have an old xigmatek S1283 with a LGA775 bracket, I'm assuming it would be easier to get a new Heatsink/Fan combo? Is the Hyper 212 Evo still a solid choice?

    Upgrading to Haswell

Most of my virtualization is pretty light, VT-d would not be worth it for me. Edit: Oh, somehow I missed your second question, I've got a 6400AAKS for my sytem drive and a 2 500GB 7200RPM seagates that I run in raid 0 for games, and a 3x3TB for raid5 storage. I've been planning to pick up a SSD...

    Upgrading to Haswell

Hey all, It's just about time to upgrade my struggling Q9450@3.5 system. It's been lovely to me but I'm looking forward to the new stuff. :) I haven't been paying too much attention to Mobos and things like Gigabytes UD3/4/5H have me totally confused. I'm just looking for something that is a...

    Cheap Controller for Raid 5

I've previously been using the ICH9R on my motherboard for keeping a raid array of my drives. I picked up 3 3TB drives recently to RAID5 together but didn't realize that my controller doesn't support bigger than 2TB drives. I was hoping you guys could suggest a cheap controller card I could use...

    School/Work Laptop For Programming/Design

I'm not too impressed with the portege models I'm seeing on the site, They seem to not be offering anything more than the Thinkpads other than the 3 year warranty and the prices don't seem any better. They don't really seem to be on Amazon or Newegg that much either. Is there something in...

    School/Work Laptop For Programming/Design

I'm currently looking for a new laptop for School/Work, I'm going to be Interning for a company in a couple months so I definitely want a sturdy machine. Anyways, I'm looking for any discussion on the models and prices I have listed, and alternatives that come close to my requirements. Also, I'd...

    Registering Domain Names

Hello! I'm hosting a small site with Amazon AWS and I wanted to register a domain name. Since it doesn't seem I can do so through Amazon (Although they do have their own registrar.) I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for where I should do so? I would like a service that offers...
