Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
How are these so called leaked reviews valid when they are using an x370 motherboard without proper bios support to show what a 2700x is capable of? My takeaway is that it works out of the box but needs proper motherboard support to see what the chip is truly capable of....more like a preview of...
Looks like the 2700X is replacing the 1800X as the flagship for now with the 2700 taking over at the 1700X price point...no price reduction but higher performance at both price points.
Wow I cannot believe this thread went on that long with nothing but misinformation! Wonder if I will get banned too.....hmmmmmm! Those of you saying that 12nm LP is not this or that are totally WRONG! Every process is an evolution of the prior process so 12nm is an refinement of 14nm...
The psu wattage rating means it will provide up to 550 watts to your pc components at 100% load. Efficiency is another matter. Also the unit provides 12v AND 5v so you are not being tricked.
Decades later and nothing has changed....as the node shrinks occur certain parts of the design get denser increasing performance. Not all of the circuitry needs to be at 12nm so it is a mix 12nm/14nm as it has always been for AMD or Intel....maybe that is why you keep saying Zen + is 14nm. More...
From the horse's mouth. Dr Lisa Su herself. 12nm is based off of 14nm and promises clock and ipc increases of 10 - 15 percent which should allow the 4ghz barrier to be broken.
