Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Good luck on the campaign!
Just one question though, I've not seen any clear photo's with builds inside the case, but there was a prototype made?
Interested in seeing the case, even if it as a prototype with actual hardware inside it.
I think he means that if he waits he might miss the pre-order period again and no retailer will have stock for him. Similar to how he missed the KS campaign
your statement about peltiers is not entirely incorrect, but a key point is missing. As the hot sides gets warmer the cold side does as a well. The benefit you're talking about is the Delta in temperature between hot and cold. it does increase but not equally to the the increase in overall...
Is warranty person bound? I always thought that a product as x months of warranty from date of purchase(or receiving in this case) that it is bound to that product.
I'm not quite sure how solid that would be legally or if kickstarters/pre-orders are an exception to the rule.
Although I can...
At the start of this thread I was also looking into this, making a PCB that takes the 100MHz reference clock and splits it into 2 isn't that big of a project. Combine that with a working flexible riser and you can have a simple splitter and be even more flexible, you can have different lengths...
I've had this GPU watercooled, I measured the PCB as 173mm, excluding the PCIe IO Bracket. So it goes past an ITX motherboard by a couple of millimeters and it's normal height even!
dondan has done testing with the board and has concluded that with some active airflow over the PCB it should handle 400W continuously. I've also stress tested it at 300W in a very cramped case that has internal air temperature close to 35C and it handled it fine.ofcourse.
The above would point...
I've had regular email conversations with them, both for purchasing and technical questions, they always respond timely and with a kind tone to the emails.
I think one major consideration point would be the "idiot-proofness" of the HDPlex riser. It is very thin, and because of it, it can also be very fragile. There is also the fact that you can plug it in wrong.
Things that Dondan would rather not deal with when you are potentially selling 1000+...
I'm on a 150/20 line here and no problem with loading (ctrl+f5 for fresh reload) even the cerberus product page. The first image you can see streaming in but other than that it loads in about 3 seconds for me, considering it's a 20MB page located in Canada it's super fast.
PS I'm from the...
