Hi everyone, I have a program that automatically downloads files from a main server. I tried installing it on a new computer today(its currently running on 4 just fine), but is telling me it cannot auto-download the files. So i try to access the main portal of the server and it simply refreshes...

it was actually working with a dell...but that's the issue, for whatever reason im getting no signal from the usb ports(with the usb keyboard and mouse) once it goes into the install screen. so i can click ok, advance a screen, etc.

ok getdataback worked great, just letting everyone know. However, im having another issue, i want to reformat their drive, so i brought the operating system disc for xp home(gateway), it loaded up on their computer..but they didnt have any ps2 ports...it was all usb..so i wasnt able to...

would i be able to run getdataback if the hard drive is in a hard drive enclosure and connected through the usb, or do i have to take it out and attach it directly to the motherboard of my functioning computer?

ok, well i used an enclosure and my tower, both occasions the drive showed up in my computer, but when i tried to access it i recieve an error saying the drive was corrupted or unreadable. So am i out of options? or is there still something that could pull the files. thanks again

well, this computer is in a different house, but yes i could just bring one of my computers over to his house, plug, and drag. thanks again everyone!

Hi everyone, I'm trying to recover files from a hard drive with a corrupted version of xp home. It says windows did not shut down properly last time and gives me the 3 safe mode options, last config that worked, and start normally. If i go to safe mode, immediate blue screen and error code...

hi everyone, my cousin built 2 systems with the same parts. asus boards 2(2gb) ocz ddr2 sticks, amd am2 processors..the first system booted up fine, installed everything and it was a success. The second system..well it powered on, fans were spinning, but no signal to the monitor. I tried taking...

We had a flash flood the other day so i had to unplug and get all of our computers to higher ground. I went to plug everything back in, and 4 out of 5 computers started up fine. They are all custom builds with winxp pro on them. The one that didn't start up properly, loads all the way up to...

i've purchased several open-box items via newegg, many of which have been motherboards and never had a problem. Not to mention their the most reliable(in my opinion) online computer hardware site..

my reason for needing xp pro is because the program i need to run, which is the centerpiece of my business, does not work on anything except xp proffesional. Im taking a vacation in the summer, and i need a laptop with xp pro so i can install my program on the trip, plain and simple. IT will not...

I need a laptop (absolutely need) a new one with xp professional installed...i own the windows xp pro software already. I was looking at the dell and hp sites and called in and it turns out they dont even customize with xp pro anymore unless its a compaq(crap) for outrageous overpriced products...
