I heard the controls suck hard, but I personally haven't played the demo yet because I own a PS3. I'm assuming the controls are as good/bad as RE4, in which case I'm not worried at all.
I'm not sure, you probably can't, but I don't need to. My eyes are so conditioned to what certain ranges of frame rates look like that I can instantly detect if a game is running at (or around) 60fps. It helps when a game like MGS4 has variable fps, and in some scenes the drop from 60fps to...
By now it's pretty clear that the promise Sony made back at E3 2005 of native 1080p game running at 120fps was utter bullsh*t, so given that we're still playing games at (often) 1280x720 native resolution at 24fps, my brother and I were discussing what's more important. The game we were...
For the love of God don't use SuperC for converting DVD video to the PSP. I've sampled about 20 odd programs for this purpose (incl. SUPER) and the absolute best program out there at the moment is TMPGenc XPress 4.0. There's a trial version available here and you can get the retail version if...
You can't expect this comment to go uncorrected, you just can't. FF7 was, by and large, the game that got me into RPG's. It was a landmark game. If you go back to it now sure it looks pretty bad, but back in the day it was THE game to play if you were even remotely interested in RPG's.
There are many, but if I had to say the ones I hate the most, I'd go with World of Warcraft and the Grand Theft Auto series. Why WoW? because it has set a bad standard for MMORPG's. Play Anarchy Online and you'll see what I mean. WoW compared to Anarchy Online is a childs game. AO is so much...
Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy VS XIII, Star Ocean 4 (currently sort of an Xbox 360 exclusive). God of War 3, HAWX and Resident Evil 5.
Without question upgrade the videocard and as others have suggested, hook up your PC to your TV. The main reason I say this is because you already own a PS3. Most games are coming out on both Xbox 360 and the PS3, so buying a 360 would only be worth it to you if there are very specific games...
This is inevitable for all magazine publications as more and more people realise that they can get the same information (+ more) from the internet for free. As sad as it is to say this, there's really no need to buy videogame magazines anymore.
I can't say for sure without knowing what kind of monitor you're running, but if it's a CRT, your alt tabbing problem could be due to the desktop refresh rate and game refresh being different. Therefore, every time you alt tab it's switching between the two refresh rates. This is known to take...
