    Will Windows Overwrite GRUB?

Scratch that, turns out you're supposed to specify GRUB2 for it to work (GRUB was default in EasyBCD) because ubuntu has been usnig GRUB2 since 9.10.

    Will Windows Overwrite GRUB?

As expected, windows booted by default. Then I installed EasyBCD but now if I try to boot into linux it hangs on a screen with a blinking cursor. What can that possibly mean? I certainly did not overwrite it with windows, and EasyBCD recognizes it as "Linux". Current partitions...

    Windows 7 software RAID 1

So you're saying the best thing we can do, besides offsite/mirrored backup, is what we are already doing?

    Windows 7 software RAID 1

We currently do, with a portable hard drive that gets tossed around and frequently transported. Maybe the RAID thing was a little too overprotective, I might just use a single drive. Q6600 temperatures in excess of 75C

i've read that quad temps for the G0 stepping should not go above 71C, but mine go 4C above that every time i play bf2. i've gradually lowered my cpu voltage to about 1.03V (verified by PCWizard) but i still cannot safely stress test without tipping over 71C after only six minutes of the...
