How do you know when you blow out your headphone drivers?

Regarding quality, take reviews with a grain of salt. People tend to be biased, jaded, etc. Read enough to form your own opinion. (Or at least enough to make an educated purchase.) Then, if you can, try and get a chance to listen yourself. What sounds fantastic to someone else may not sound that...

Recommend a fairly good gaming headset..

I already have two Sennheiser HD sets and a PC set. I do not like the HDs for gaming. Also, I use a number of VOIP applications along with in game voice chat. I prefer to keep cord clutter to a minimum so I avoid standalone microphones.

Recommend a fairly good gaming headset..

I've had the Senn's. They're a good, solid stereo headset. My only gripe is that the cord is too long. After much abuse my mic stopped working and then I accidentally snapped part of the ear frame. Looking for a new 5.1 headset now..

    WinXP: Dynamic Disk Unreadable

I don't recall exactly why/when it was converted to a dynamic disk. I haven't tried any software tools yet. During bootup, the raid controller sees the array as healthy/fine.

    WinXP: Dynamic Disk Unreadable

The other day I tried updating my RAID card drivers... (Silicon Image 3132 built-into my MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI Mobo) When it came back my system was unable to see my disk. Screenshot of Unreadable error It's a RAID0 array. Two Seagate 200Gb drives configured as one drive, one partition...

    Funky SLI performance.

Well, it wasn't power. I went out and bought a new SilentStone 650W PSU today. Came back, installed, played COD2 for a while and same problem. Just finished formatting and reinstalling windows. Don't think it's a heating issue as the CPU stays around 55 and both the 6800-U's stay around 75 at...

    Funky SLI performance.

I'm having some problems, too.. With COD2 and FEAR. It seems like anything with softshadows gets artifacting... And my game locks up for around 10 seconds at a time. It'll be playing fine, with a high FPS then I just lock up for a while. Sometimes I gain response again, sometimes it crashes the...

    Encryption

You won't be able to read the files if the thumb drive is used on another machine.

    Encryption

First of all, thumb drives are usually FAT format for portability. You'd have to change it to NTFS, then encrypt. After that's done, the only way you can unencrypt is if you have the cyptographic keys. I'm assuming you're encrypting then browsing the folder on the same computer. If you're on...

    VPN Problem

If the tunnel is up, she probably won't be able to ping the external address. Step 1: Verify the tunnel is up and running. Step 2: Assuming you're doing NAT on both ends, have the user ping from their internal address to an internal address on the remote end. If it's a point to point...

    WC Questions

I was looking at buying from FCPU.. From the looks of it, everyone hates them. I'm not too worried about paying extra. Are there any recommendations for similar e-shops? (Ie: offer custom cable sleeving, can generally get everything I need from one spot, etc)

TDX vs. Storm what are your thoughts?

    Any other one-stop-shop recommendations?

    WC Questions

Thanks. Definetely gives me more to think about. Didn't really think about how restrictive the NV-68 was, so I am now considering the Maze4's for GPU. Any recommendations on pumps? Also, I'm still confused as to the flow ordering.. Seems like general consensus is: pump > res > cpu > vid...

    WC Questions

[H]ello, I'm planning a move to WC very soon after being a long time air-cooling user. I have a few questions which I didn't really see covered in the FAQ, so just wanted to place them here instead of page 12 on what seemed a pretty stale thread. My primary objective is overclocking...

    Anyone have a fav rack?

You might also want to check out Liebert. They make some really nice looking 4-post enclosed racks. They're pretty much the same as APC with better pricing. (Ie: they'll do your battery backup, have matching surge protectors mounted vertically to the rear of the rack, etc.) For non-enclosed...
