I can save you even more money... If iremember rightly mobo companies such as asus etc released a BIOS update so it can cope with a 4790k. I have a spare mobo the ASUS z87 hero board and i have that working with the 4790k

Yes i agree ASUS boards in general are of excellent quality and are one of the best. I just wish their customer service was the same too:(

In my humble opinion I wouldn't use AS5 (Arctic Silver) if you wish to get maximum overclocking out of it. AS5 is too liquid and as such the more heat that comes form your CPU (with overclocking) the length of time before you need to replace the paste decreases. The reason for this AS5 as it is...

Thermaltake in my opinion make great cases, but PSU's and wc avoid them like the plague.

why downgrade? x79 is where its at mate and you can afford x99

Both are good cards but i would opt for the 980 ,due to better drivers and amd's financial woes right now

nice tidy little rig there mate........ all it needs now is CUSTOM water cooling:)
