Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ya, I am wondering if I should have gone with an ATI now since my asus can use 2 of them at some later date when needed, to late now I guess.
But if your also in that situation, grab an ATI now, and later when you feel its to slow, instead of scrapping it and getting a new one, you can pick...
I agree with the above, but just to chime in I have that exact Corsair kit in one of my computers been running great OC'ed for 2 years, so its good stuff, the G skill might be a better OC choice though, only have experience with gskill in my laptop :)

hmmm your problem might be somthing to do with you usb settings in BIOS, not sure but I seem to remember seeing some strange bios settings for usb/sleep stuff
I came home to my computer today being locked up (screen off would not respond) and after some testing realized that the USB was giving power to thing but not actually working, like if I pluged in my thumbdrive the light lit up but my mouse/keyboard would not work no matter how many times I...
OK cool, will leave them on always on then.
BTW I have a Antec 1200 case and only 2 drives in each 3 drive bay with a 120mm fan an inch in front of them, so cooling isnt an issue :)
No, just looked it up and am not understanding what it would help, I see it can adjust the sleep settings, I was talking about the settings in windows.
