    570 GTX and Physics

I'm not too familiar with the ins and out of power supplies, so I don't know for sure. I do know that it has 4 six pin connectors designed to potentially run two graphics cards in SLI. Unfortunately, it's an older power supply and I don't know if Tagan contemplated the necessity of an 8 pin...

    570 GTX and Physics

Domingo, Have you tried to run Batman with just your 570? Additionally, Do you think I would have power supply issues running both cards? Thanks.

    570 GTX and Physics

I used to connect my gtx 280 with 1 8 pin connector, and a 2 six pin to 1 8 pin adapter. So if I ran a 570 gtx and the 280 gtx, I think I would have to have the 570 gtx with 1 six pin connector and 2 4pin to 1 6 pin adapter. Then I would hook up the 280 gtx with the original power...

    570 GTX and Physics

Just replaced my 280 gtx with a 570 gtx, and I am finally getting ready to play Batman AA. I have a 8800 Ultra and 280 gtx sitting in the closet. Can I play with high physics on a single 570 or will I have to use a separate physics card? My power supply is a Tagan 1100 PSU, but it's old. It...

HDMI to DVI monitor and win 7

Merry Christmas! The problem returns in Windows 7 ultimate. The nvidia registry hack I used before for Vista doesn't work. Has anyone found an easy point and click registry hack, or is it back to EDID changing? This is really annoying.

HDMI to DVI monitor and win 7

Good to hear that NVIDIA may have fixed this. The problem is that when your monitor is recognized as an HDTV, rather than a computer monitor, your display is askew to the point where you have no access to your start menu or icons. It is really annoying, and the registry fix was to essentially...

HDMI to DVI monitor and win 7

I've got an Nividia GTX 280 and a LG 24 inch monitor. With Vista, I had to do a registry hack to get my monitor to NOT recognize my computer as an HDTV. Has this problem with windows and NVIDIA been fixed in win 7. Thanks.

Who's getting Batman Arkham Asylum for the PC tomorrow ?

Second the question, as to whether it's worthwhile to put in an old graphics card? Thanks.

Thanks Ezrem. Is it as easy as just installing the hotfix, after a clean new driver install???

    fixed EDID NVIDIA Drivers

I haven't messed around with updating any drivers for about a year. I have a 24 LG monitor, and the last go around I remember having to edit the registry or else my GTX 280 thought it was an HDTV, as opposed to a monitor. While not sounding like a big deal, it was, because it corrupted the...

Why isn't Flat Panel Scale working with Nvidia drivers?

I believe this is the old Nvidia drivers problem of recognizing your monitor as an HDTV. This is a bitch to fix, but essentially you have to edit the EDID in your registry. I have the same monitor, and had the same problem with my gtx280. I fixed it, but it has discouraged me from updating my...

GTX 260 + LG 246 Not displaying properly??

I haven't bothered to update my drivers due to this problem. Don't want to mess with this issue again. Nvidia needs a permanant fix for 180.00's. (GTX 280)

Upgraded from 8800 Ultra to GTX 260...desktop color quality looks terrible now

SR20, Your graphics card is recognizing your monitor as an HDTV. One option is to edit your video drivers from recognizing HDTV formats. You can also edit your registry. I had similar issues with an LG monitor.
