    sounds like a very promising new ips monitor. very low input lag, low g2g, no pwm and not even the typical ips glow, according to posts on another board!

    @MIVEC2.4 Just access the monitor's service menu (hold down menu + power button). This will tell you which panel is used. Does anyone have a clue about the different part numbers? By now there are at least 3 Z24i models: D7P53A4, D7P53AT, D7P53A8.

    PWM Flickering Monitors List

    I just received an email from HP customer care stating that in their new Z-Series they are not using PWM for LED dimming. To be honest I am not completely sure if they got my question right but it seems that LEDs are not dimmed in a continuous manner but by PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation)...
