Ive spent a few days messing around with the VLC skin editor and I've accepted Im just out of my league due to the XML or editor requirements for editing VLC, even though this editor makes it so you need no XML knowledge at all.
What I want to do is very simple.
I only want to change 1...
Thought you guys were [H]ard, come on!
I'm watching mostly Windows Media Player movies using a Realtek soundcard.
I'm aware of the Audio Switcher Volume boost in MPC there has to be something like that because it helps alot, but in a windows application form.
When using headphone speakers my volume sounds low, thats with everything pushed to max.I dont want to get a new sound card, my volume is fine with 5.1's its just when using a headset.
Is there any popular applications that boost headphone volume?
Actually I was wrong that was my old 24" my current model is an Asus model # VE 245.
I think its this one but it could be a different one that isnt 1920x1200.
I purchased a 1920x1200 Soyo monitor a year ago and used a Nvidia 8800gt at the time and the Nvidia graphics control panel correctly identified my monitor display as being ratio 1920x1200 and ect.
Since them I've bought 2 ATI cards, I bought a cheap one temporarily and very recently a 6950 and...
Nope, when I say 4 pin i think i mean 5 there is actually 5 prongs but if you peer into prongs theres only 4 of them with metal pins in them and one is empty.
But my psu has two '6 pin outlets' (pci-e cable) and five '4pin outlets'. I have one of the video cards outlets supplied by going...
Well since it requires 2 power cables one socket would recieve a normal PCI-E cable and the other socket would be a 4-pin adapter since I only have 1 of each.
Posting in another thread someone replied it might not be a wise idea to have 2 different cables leading to each socket because the...
Thanks. Im going to just buy another PCE card from best buy. My psu came with 2 originally but since my first vid card only required one I lost the 2nd.
Its a corsair HX 520 and it came with 2 pci cords but i lost the unneeded one Im going to buy another pci cord from best buy today to play it safe.
edit: I believe theyre called pce cords I noobed it up.
I think I may not have been clear, although I have a feeling the answer is the same.
It's not 1 splitter going into both of the video card plugs. The video card has 2 plugins and I have one 6pin to 6pin straight cord for one of the outlets..and for the second plugin I have to use a splitter...
I purchased a HD6950 and the instructions insist to not mixmatch power connectors. There are 2 plug-ins and I only have 1 splitter and 1 pci cable, theres like figures with big X Do not do this images but I dont have 2 pci cables or 2 splitters.
Are they being overcautious or is it ok to use...

Thats good. Because i ordered the 6970 right before the above poster replied, was a bit worried. I was going to overclock the 2.4ghz quad to 3ghz or even 3.3 seeing I bought the beefy heatsink purely for that purpose but never actually got around to jacking it.
If someone else thinks theres no...
