    Thanks. I'm not sure what level SP-wise this XP is. I've been using 98se for years and XP is new to me. I was wanting to make a partition anyway of about the 160 - 137 = 23 size to backup the operating system to. (I'm going to try using XXClone, after having good results in 98se with XXCopy.)...

    I just installed a 160GB HD on an AMD Sempron emachine with XP, to use as a backup drive. On my old Win98, it was only showing 137GB, and I knew that that was because of something I didn't have installed, but I just let it go.
