    the ones i saw were more of a gunmetal grey color and much more solid (less like you could sneeze them apart). This is the right idea though. Thanks for that much. Technically, one could make such a thing, but i dont have a lot of power tools and i'd be happy to pay a reasonable amount rather...

    hardest hitting 2.1 speakers?

    Altec lansing VS 4121 have so much bass that i have to turn it down, and I LIKE bass. They have a really big sound, and run under $150. Altec in general are of good quality whatever you're looking for, in my experience. -charlie
